The Cooter School Counseling Program will provide an education program that prepares students for the future by staying informed of all knowledge and its application, technology, and educational methods. We will provide a curriculum that will meet the needs of college bound students, the needs of students pursuing a vocation, and the need of those students entering the work world immediately after graduation. We will provide students with the opportunity to develop personal growth. We will work in partnership with parents, school and community to help students reach their full potential.
The mission of the Cooter R-IV School Counseling Program is to provide a comprehensive, developmental school counseling program addressing the academic, career, and personal/social development of all students. The School Counselor is an advocate, who in partnership with other educators, parents, and the community, will assist all students in finding their interests and capabilities and will help further those to the maximum use of their potential as successful students for the Twenty-First Century.
