Welcome to 6th grade! Your teachers this year are Mr. Hanson (science), Ms. Siracusa (math), and Mrs. Aiello (ELA). Your homeroom teacher also teaches social studies. Be prepared for a lot of project based learning, hands on activities, immersive learning, and team building experiences.
Sixth graders are fortunate enough to have multiple field trips off campus. We kick off our year together at the Fly Creek Valley Corn Maze, where students learn to work together to find solutions. After our study of ancient caves, we explore Howe Caverns in Cobleskill. The PE department arranges an invigorating snow shoe trip in Boonville, and the CFES program sponsors a visit to SUNY Oneonta where students get exposure to college life.
