Key Dates for submission of video evidence.
Year 10
FULL Submission 20th December 2019 (all evidence)
Year 9
You must complete a video for each sport you are undertaking, ready to present to the examiner.
Video Contents
-Your video must meet the criteria in the specification
-Your video must show all the skills listed on the specification in isolation (in an unopposed situation)
-Your video must show all the skills listed on the specification in a competitive environment in both a drill and a FULL unedited game situation
-There is no required length of the video, only that it must be long enough to demonstrate the above criteria.
For the videos it is imperative that you are easily identifiable and MUST be in correct kit attire and environment for the sport you are undertaking (E.G shorts and studs for rugby, playing on a field). Each video MUST contain the pupils candidate number, name and sport. the video needs to be split into two chapters, skills in isolation and skills in a competitive environment
SUBMISSION POINTS
Your first check point is the last week in term 2 WB 16/12/19 in which your class teacher will ask to see at least one video in its most basic form, showing skills in isolation or skills in a competitive environment
Your second checkpoint is in term 3 WB 10/02/20 in which your teacher will ask to see one video completed in its entirety (but may not be edited together at this stage) and another video in its basic form showing skills in isolation or skills in a competitive environment
Your third checkpoint is in term 4 WB 30/03/20 in which your teacher will ask to see two videos completed in their entirety and a third in its basic form, showing skills in isolation or in a competitive environment
Your final hand in for GCSE evidence is in term 6 WB 13/07/20, in which you will be asked to finally submit all three videos in their final form, ready to present for marking and submission.
