Please note we do not provide any tuition or cannot accept entries that involve coursework or science practicals. Any science re-takes the practical endorsement or subject coursework all will be carried forward, no new coursework can be submitted.

Home language Application Form (Coombe students only)

If you would like your daughter to sit a GCSE in a home language. Please complete this application form

Fee for entry is £150

If you would like your son or daughter to sit A level (Sixth Form only) Please complete this application form

By agreeing to act as an examination centre, we would like to clarify the following requirements:

Speaking Component: You must provide the contact details of a qualified speaking examiner. The examiner must be familiar with the specification and requirements for the speaking component of the exam.
Syllabus and Assessment Materials: These must be sourced by the family. For more information, please refer to Pearson’s website
Responsibility for Tuition: As this subject is not taught at Coombe Girls’ School, all preparation and tuition must be arranged privately. Our teaching staff are not responsible for providing coaching or support for this subject.
Exam Timetable and Procedures: Your daughter will receive her exam timetable from the Examinations Officer in advance. Should she have any queries, she is welcome to visit the exams office, located in the Wilson Block.
Exam Conduct: She will sit the exams in line with JCQ and school procedures, alongside the regular GCSE/GCE cohorts. Further instructions will be provided nearer the time.

Speaking Exam Period: Speaking exams will be scheduled between 16th April and 21st May 2026. I will contact the examiner you provide to arrange an appropriate date and time.
