Welcome Back

Holidays can be a hard to return from.  Lots of lifestyle changes, late nights, and a return to routine are some of the reasons that make it harder to come back to school.  Some of you may find the sleep guidance helpful.  cbswellbeing.coombe.org.uk/students/improving-sleep

Other things to consider are building a routine for regular exercise and eating healthier.

LGBTQ+ youth group

No Straight Answer (NSA) is a youth club for young people aged 11-19 who are or feel they may be a part of the LGBTQ+ community. No Straight Answer is held at Heatham House Youth Centre, Twickenham every Friday. (We don’t advertise the exact time of the session on publicity material as we are keen to protect the identities of members of the group.)

The session is really diverse with full access to all of Heatham’s activities including sport, music, cooking, and art. It provides support, guidance and a safe space for young people to make new friends, socialise and take part in a wide range of activities. We also promote and explore young people's understanding of LGBTQ+identity, relationships and mental health through activities, discussions and workshops. As well as activities and discussions, young people also have the space to speak with a counsellor who is in session once a term that is also part of the community.

Please contact: Alex Quennell or Justin Johnson for more information and to find out the time of the session.
