Hello and welcome!
I am fortunate to have studied and worked on staff and faculty here at ConVal for more than twenty years. Working with students and colleagues in the humanities and the language and performing and visual arts is an enduring pleasure, even better in service of people building the lifelong skills of community, adaptability, respect, engagement, and safety.
I graduated from ConVal in 1985 and since then have studied History, English, and Theatre at Yale University (BA) and Rutgers, Mason Gross School of the Arts (MFA). Other graduate work includes studies at Wesleyan and Harvard Universities, and a post-graduate, artistic apprenticeship with Theatre de la Jeune Lune (Tony 2005) in Minneapolis, MN.
Originally from Greenville, NH, I now live in Peterborough, NH. I currently teach full-time at ConVal, and I am an active theatre maker, mostly as co-founder and co-artistic director of Firelight Theatre Workshop, a non-profit arts organization based in Peterborough, now in its seventh year.
This Spring I am teaching English Credit Recovery, Aesthetics and Ideas, and Introduction to Theatre/Theatre Workshop.
