Rules and Expectations

Mr. Kendall's Schedule:

I will be in the building for the following weeks as a specialist:

  • 9/11-
  • 10/16-10/20
  • 12/4-12/8
  • 1/22-1/26
  • 3/13-3/16
  • 4/30-5/4
  • 6/11-6/18

I will be at HES for the following weeks as a co-teacher:

  • 9/25-9/29
  • 11/6-11/9
  • 1/2-1/5
  • 2/12-2/16
  • 4/2-4/6
  • 5/21-5/25

Checkout procedures:

  • Books can be checked out to students at all grade levels
  • Students in grades 3/4 are allowed to take their books home with them with the expectation that the books will be kept safe and will be returned on time. Other grades will be keeping their books in their classroom until after my second visit to HES as a specialist.
  • Checked out books are due at the start of the next library special week.
  • If a student wishes to return a book early, they may drop the book off at the library in the book drop.
  • If a student would like to check out a book during a time where the librarian is not at HES, please email me at akendall@conval.edu
  • Books that are lost or damaged are to be replaced or paid for by the student who checked out the book
  • Parents and guardians who are concerned about their children caring for library books at home or prefer that the books remain at school are encouraged to speak with their children about expected responsibilities.
