Welcome to The Counselor's Corner! My name is Kara Schoen and I am the School Counselor at Pierce, Peterborough and Francestown Elementary Schools. As a School Counselor, my primary responsibility is to promote the academic and the social/emotional development of all students. I offer support to the Pierce, Peterborough and Francestown students, staff, families, and community. I meet with students individually and in small groups, teach classroom counseling lessons, meet with family members of students, collaborate with teachers and staff, and connect with community organizations to benefit and meet the needs of all students.
