Online Options:
Internet Free Option:
- Go out in public. Go to a store, grocery or clothing where people are there to help you pick something out. Talk with a salesperson, ask for help, ask them how their day is going, pick a specific skill you are trying to improve and practice.
- Watch TV and discuss the social situations, skills, and language you observe.
Hands-on-Activity Options:
- Draw a comic depicting the social skill you are practicing. What are the struggles? How did the character overcome them? What are the different possible outcomes? What were the different perspectives of each character involved? What were the different emotions?
