Pursue grant opportunities to ensure continued sustainability of new and existing district programs and initiatives.
Ensure that the district continues to offer competitive salaries and benefits to attract high-quality personnel in an increasingly competitive environment.
Develop collaborative budgets that advocate for the resources that students and teachers need, while also balancing the need to be fiscally responsible.
Facilities
Review, update and revise the 5-year facilities plan to ensure adequate and safe facilities that meet the needs of all students and staff.
Plan for appropriate facilities improvements and upgrades to support a learning environment that meets the academic and social and emotional needs of students and faculty.
Adapt to advances in future-focused infrastructure, learning, and technology to drive students to and beyond traditional educational experiences.
Food Services
Provide healthy and balanced nutrition to all students.
Promote student choice by offering a variety of menu options that meets the dietary needs of students.
Open access to all students regardless, of socio-economic status.
Student Services
Support the needs of our diverse learners.
Help each student realize his/her highest potential through research-based intervention, social-emotional learning, and individualized education plans.
Examine, review, and revise systems to ensure GPS is providing equal access to all students.
Family/Community Engagement
Build and grow partnerships with families and the community to support our students through our School Community Voice Teams.
Grow community and family support through networking and creating a positive social media presence.
Spotlight student achievement and opportunities through ongoing communication.
