GeM is the short form of One Stop Government e-Market Place hosted by DGS&D where common users can purchase goods and services. GeM portal Registration and consists of two types of registration i.e. for buyer and seller where both the player can register and avail of the facility provided at "https //www.gem.gov.in Login". By making use of the digital user-friendly portal,  it becomes convenient for procuring goods by the government. In the process, the total transaction is paperless, contactless, and cashless.

How to login at GeM Portal?

• Open the official website "https //www.gem.gov.in Login".

• On the homepage of the website, click on the "Login" option link.

• The login form will open.

• Enter your "GeM User Id" and password.

• Click on the "Submit" button.

GeM Registration Process

For Seller

• Visit the portal at "https //www.gem.gov.in Login".

• Now select the Seller option from the Sign-Up link.

• A page for creating Organization Seller Account will open.

• Click on the option of Review Terms and Conditions.

• Now on the next page you will have to give the type of business and name of your organization.

• After this you will get the option to select from Aadhar or PAN.

• Whatever you have selected, in the next step you will have to provide your Aadhaar or PAN number along with your mobile number.

• Now click on the option of Verify Aadhaar.

• After verifying your Aadhaar, you will be redirected to a new page with a blank form.

• Here you have to fill all the details correctly and provide your email ID for verification with the help of an OTP.

• Next, provide a User ID and choose your password and confirm it.

• Click on Create Account option.

For Buyer 

• Visit the site "https //www.gem.gov.in Login".

• Now on the Sign Up option, click and select the Buyer option.

• On the next page you will have to click on the option of Review Terms and Conditions.

• Tick the box to accept it.

• After this you will have to give your Aadhar number and your mobile number. Make sure that you provide the same mobile number which is linked to your Aadhaar.

• Now, click on the option of Verification Basis to complete the verification process.

• A next page will appear where you will have to provide an OTP which you should receive on your registered mobile number.

• Click on the given Verify option again.

• On the next page you will get a popup on which you have to go and click on the Close option.

• Now, you will get a form in which you have to fill all the required details.

• Next, you have to provide your email ID and verify it using the OTP that you will receive on your email ID.

• Now, provide a user ID and password.

• Confirm the password and then click on the Create Account option.
