The Triumph Newspaper is the official paper of this school. Tradition traces back 50 years ago from the 1970’s. It was on pause for a while until it came back after the pandemic and is now going on strongly.
Multiple prints have been released and published, building up the status, and providing information, stories and giving the roar that students have by releasing articles online and in hand.
The class consists of a small group of students, from all grades, combining their ideas, writing and knowledge from all over the school, then uses their journalism skills to publish high class articles for students free to read.
Being in the class is more than just grades, it’s being part of a close community that has the same writing passion as one of each other. Laughs, memories, and moments are being created every second.
Not only do the school’s journalists write for the school, but they also attend UIL competitions spanning over 4 events. Throughout the years, students have placed highly in these events making a name for themselves, and leaving an academic trace for the school.
This year, the newspaper class has been working hard to continue the reputation, despite the challenges that have occurred to the staff. The journalists of the school will continue to write, create and find the voices of tigers!
