DECA Club Membership Application
Membership applications will begin in August
You must be a paid member to participate
in field trips and activities.
Click on the CISD CTE website link to see if you are in a CTE class.
Scroll down to the Programs of Study Course Offerings. If your class is listed, you will be a DECA 1 member.
If you do not have any of your classes listed, but you took one of those classes in the past, you will be a DECA 2 member.
DECA 1: $36
This is for students that are currently in a CTE course or are a CTE Completer.
DECA 2 $36
This is for students who would like to compete but are not currently in a CTE course. You must have taken a CTE course previously. You will be responsible for some competition and travel fees.
DECA 3: $16
This is for students who have not been, and are not currently in a CTE course. You will not be able to compete; but you can be involved in monthly meetings and field trips. (includes T-shirt)
We are an organization dedicated to preparing emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality and management. We were established in 2019. Throughout the year, our members participate in competitive events, volunteer in their local community, and complete in international campaigns, all while gaining invaluable skills and expertise that will one day help guide them in their path to reach professional success.

Students are eligible to receive a DECA Graduation Cord if they have met the following requirements:
A paid member of DECA for their year of competition AND their graduation year. (Starting in 2020-2021 must have 2 years of DECA)
Academically Prepared: Have a GPA of 3.0 or higher (unweighted)
Community Oriented: Participate in at least one community service event in graduation year
Professionally Responsible: Won at district, and qualified for State (this includes SBE and Chapter Campaign Chairs)
