What to do with students per month or holiday and season.

Monday through Thursday do the drawing videos that connect with the month. Students take home the art they make that day.
Use the manilla vanilla or regular copy paper in front of my desk in the paper dividers or the paper dividers on the counter by the door in the drawing supply area. (The drawing supply area is where the pencil cups, pencil sharpner, and big peach/cream color supply tubs are on the counter by my front door.)
Friday sub day for 25 minutes is art bingo!!! Stick with that!
Bingo Directions - 25 minute classes! Friday will always be Art Bingo for a Sub!
Bingo videos are at the very bottom of the website. There is a binder or a folder and there are small paper ones or you can use the laminated ones that students can use bingo dots on.
There is another binder and folder with older ones that are on green paper and laminated that will work also.
Needless to say, I have several art bingo games.
Sub. Guest Teacher - You can press play on the videos at the very bottom of this site here or you can call and show the pictures on your own.
If you play the video, it will give you some time to get set up for the drawing activity and call star colors red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple to come up and go to the supply store to get their supplies.
Each student gets his or her own Bingo card. They will use a pencil to color in a triangle or box in the picture box. This way they can use it again. See video. If you use the laminated ones, or the ones in a sheet protector, they need bingo dots or squares.
Bingo Prizes are stickers or Bush Bucks.
No matter what the month is, this is what is available for the students.
Guest Teacher Rules for Students:
1.One piece of paper
2. No paper air planes, or no fortune tellers!
3. Crayons and color pencils only
4. Sit in assigned seats
5. Behave, Be Respectful to others and supplies.
6. Take your art with you.
7. Draw from the drawing video or free draw. 2nd-4th grade can use the drawing books.
August Lesson Plan
Drawing Farm Animals - Students can practice drawing farm animals to get them ready for drawing for the rodeo western art. This will be practice and the students can take these home when finished. After practicing a few animals, students can free create in the centers. The drawing and collage center tables are in the back of the room. Students can draw the animal in the small boxes provided or on free draw paper. Only 1 piece of white paper total.

Get one game board per child.
When the teacher shows the picture you will move the sticky note over the picture. When the teacher has shown all pictures on your game board, raise your hand and say you have Bingo!
You will get a bush buck when you have Bingo.
Then take the sticky notes and put them above the picture to play a new round of art bingo.
The teacher will shuffle the pictures he or she has and then will call out new pictures.
