Tiffany Peeler MA. LPC. NCC.
I'm passionate about helping children—and the adults they become—navigate life’s challenges with resilience and hope.
My career began in the classroom, where I spent over 15 years as a certified public school teacher. During that time, I discovered a deep calling to support students facing significant behavioral and emotional struggles. It became clear to me that truly educating a child means addressing their whole self—not just their academic needs, but their emotional, social, and mental well-being as well.
To expand my ability to support children more holistically, I pursued a Master’s degree in both School Counseling and Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Spring Arbor University. Today, I serve as a school counselor in Genesee County and also offer therapy services to children, teens, and adults outside of the school setting.
With years of experience working across all age groups and a wide range of school-related issues, I bring a compassionate, client-centered approach to therapy. While I primarily use Solution-Focused Therapy, I incorporate a variety of therapeutic techniques to meet each client's unique needs.
I believe in the power of empathy, non-judgment, and unconditional positive regard. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you or your child can feel heard, valued, and empowered to grow. Together, we’ll uncover the strengths already inside of you and begin the journey toward healing and positive change.
I’d be honored to walk alongside you on your path to wellness.

About Me
I began my career in education as a certified teacher, spending nine years in public schools working with students from elementary through middle school. During that time, I developed a deep awareness of the social and emotional challenges many students face—challenges that often extend beyond the classroom and significantly impact their ability to succeed. This insight led me to pursue a Master’s degree in School Counseling from Capella University.
Since completing my graduate studies, I have served as a middle school counselor, providing comprehensive support to students and their families. In 2023, I expanded my professional scope by transitioning into clinical counseling to better serve a broader and more diverse client population.
In my clinical work, I support individuals ranging in age from 5 years old through adulthood. My areas of focus include anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, self-esteem, self-harm, grief and loss, and life transitions. I also bring extensive expertise in navigating school-related concerns such as 504 plans, IEPs, learning disabilities, college planning, bullying, and test anxiety.
My approach is client-centered, empathetic, and collaborative. I strive to create a safe and supportive environment where clients feel empowered to explore their challenges, achieve their goals, and celebrate their progress.
