- As a mentor you are expected to meet with your student on day 6, period 8. We know this is a busy place and that you may not always be in school. We expect you to let your student know that you’re away, either by telling them directly, emailing their teacher or myself.
- As a mentor you are expected to keep up to date records of your time together
- As a mentor you are expected to stay up to date with email related to peer mentoring. You will also be expected to share with your fellow peer mentors any updates you are aware of.
- As a mentor you are expected to communicate questions or concerns you have about your student or your experience being a peer mentor to any one of us, your student’s teacher, or your teacher.
- As a mentor we expect you to attend tutorials and training.
- As a mentor we expect your focus to be on your student, not on your friends. Peer mentoring isn’t free time or a reason to leave class.
