If you’ve already satisfied that requirement, consider registering for a 200-level course that you find interesting
If you have taken AP PSY in High School AND received a 4 or 5 on the AP Exam, you are eligible to count that for PSY 100 but NOT both (You can not receive college credit for both AP PSY and PSY 100)
PSY 100 counts as a Mode of Inquiry D (MOID), Scientific Inquiry. AP PSY will NOT count as a MOID
If PSY 100 has filled up, you can take psychological statistics (PSY 201) which does not require AP PSY or PSY 100

There are 6 sections of PSY 100 taught every semester
PSY 100 includes a lecture (2, 75 minute classes per week) and a lab (2 hours per week)
Core
Intro to Psychology (PSY 100) OR AP Psychology with a 4 or 5 on the Exam
Psychological Statistics (PSY 201)
Research Methods in Psychology (PSY 202)

Students take 6 courses in the following three areas (Clinical and Personality, Social and Health, Mind and Brain).
At least three courses must be at the 300-level or higher.
Students are expected to either take two (2) courses in each area, or three (3) courses in one area, two (2) in a second area, and one (1) in a third area. Students can petition to count relevant FYS or Conn courses here or as an elective.
1 Elective (200-400 Level Course in the PSY or Human Development Department)
1 Seminar
Introduction to Psychology OR AP Psychology
Four (4) Courses at the 200 Level or Above
At least one (1) must be at the 300 or 400 Level
PSY 100/AP PSY for most 200 level courses except PSY 201
PSY 201 is the prerequisite for PSY 202. They cannot be taken during the same semester.
Students who register for a course without having the required pre reqs will be asked to drop it
