ASAC & FIVB VOLLEYBALL RULES

Volleyball

1. RULE BOOK: www.fivb.com

2. MATCH FORMAT - Best of three sets.

   • Sets 1 & 2 - Played to 25 points with rally scoring; minimum 2-point margin.

   • Set 3 (if required) - Played to 15 points with rally scoring; minimum 2-point margin.

3. TIMEOUTS - Two (2) × 30-second timeouts per set per team.

4. BETWEEN SETS - 3 minutes.

5. NET HEIGHT

   • Junior - 2.24m for Boys and Girls.

   • Senior Girls - 2.24m for Girls.

   • Senior Boys - 2.43m for Boys

6. WARM-UP

   • Minimum 10 minutes total: 4 minutes Team 1, 4 minutes Team 2, 2 minutes joint serving. 

   • Non-court team warms up behind the end line.

7. SUBSTITUTIONS

   • Unlimited for two players sharing the same position. 

   • Libero permitted (must wear a different-colored uniform or bib).

8. REFEREES

   • Two referees will be on the court for each game.

   • One referee will be in charge of the scorebook.

5. VOLLEYBALL TIE-BREAK PROCEDURE (Round Robin)

• Head-to-head result.

• Set differential between tied teams.

• Point differential between tied teams.

• Set differential across all games.

• Point differential across all games.

• Coin toss.

*In a 3-way tie, once one team is eliminated, return to the top of the tie-break system.
