In order to maintain enrollment in Honors level Select Choir, Men's Chorus, or Melodies, students must...

1. Maintain a grade of 90 or higher in their ensemble

2. Audition for MMEA District Festival (Junior or Senior)

3. Perform in a CCHS Music Department recital (see calendar)

4. Attend two performances per semester (one per quarter) as an audience member and complete a brief reflection -- via Google Form

5. Complete two of the following independent musical endeavors:

   • • Enroll in a year of private lessons on your primary instrument

     • Enroll in a year of private lessons on a secondary instrument

     • Join an ensemble or performing group outside of CCHS such as: MYWE, CYT, Groton Hill, Rivers, BYSO

     • Perform around the school or community (e.g. National Anthem at games/events, holiday caroling, etc.)

     • Participate in Pep Band (required of Band Members earning Honors Credit)

     • Teach or mentor another student in an official/supervised capacity
