Summer Beginning Band starts July 8th!
The Concord High School Marching Minutemen have been a perennial state finalst since the early 1980's. The band has been named Class B State Champion and State-Runner Up multiple times.
Concord has been recognized as one of the most well-rounded programs in the state with regular apperances at State Marching Finals, State Concert Finals, a jazz program that is highly respected, and one of the largest Pep Bands in the state.
Striving for excellence is not only reserved for the high school! The junior high band program has had a long legacy of wonderful bands that have regularly been regarded as some of the best junior high bands in the state by achieving successive Gold Ratings at the annual ISSMA contest every year for over 40 years.

Travel: The high school band typically has the opportunity to travel throughout the country every 2-4 years. In addition to being invited to participate in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York multiple times, and has traveled to places like: Disney World, Disneyland, Hollywood, Philadelphia, Hawaii, Miami, Phoenix, Bahamas, and Washington D.C.
Academics: The music program, specifically the band, will count towards all diploma types that Concord Community Schools offers. Being in the band will also fit pathways to graduation. Students at Concord who participate in the high school band, on average, have a higher G.P.A than the rest of the student body.
What we offer: The longer students stay in the program, the more opportunities become available. At the high school level we offer 3 concert bands based on ability level, 3 jazz bands, Piano and Electronic Keyboard class, AP Music Theory, Music Theory and Composition, and Pep Band. In addition, we offer choir, orchestra and dance classes.
