Alma M. Partida is a bilingual and bicultural Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in bilingualism, preschool and early elementary aged students and in augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). Alma graduated from San Jose State with her Bachelor's in Communicative Sciences and Disorders and a minor in Psychology. She continued her graduate studies at San Jose State in Speech/Language Pathology where she received the Project AACes grant which specialized her in AAC.

Alma is the creator of @AACforYouAndMe on Instagram and helped spearhead @DiverseAAC and @BilingueAAC.

Alma is a community partner and lecturer at the new CSU-Monterey Bay's speech pathology program.

Alma has presented at nationwide conferences including ASHA (2021), ATIA (2021), AAC in the Cloud (2021/2022), among others.

Alma enjoys spending time with her family, her adorable 2-year-old and enjoys reading in her spare time.
