Hello, I am Mr. Womack, I teach (7th grade) Introduction to Computer Science Discoveries (CSD)

Please use this page as a resource for you to keep track of your work with our Google Calendar, as well as available resources to help you out with your classwork.

Syllabus

Expectations for Students:

  • Log into class on time and be prepared to learn.

  • Actively engage in classroom activities and partner work.

  • Follow the district's Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

Students are requested to turn on their camera while I am giving instructions but it is not mandatory. I do ask that students who chose not to turn on their camera type a brief summary of the instructions on that day's agenda post in the Agenda, Announcements, and Instructions channel.

Materials needed every day:

  • Computer

  • Charger

  • Earbuds/headphones

Grading policies:

  • Grade scale

    • 90%-100% = A

    • 80%-89% = B

    • 70%-79% = C

    • 60%-69% = D

    • < 59% = F

  • No penalty for late work but students MUST fill out a missing/late work request form. Form can be found in Teams.
