FIRST Robotics Programs
Pre K - 1st Grade
The FIRST® LEGO® League Discover Class Pack includes the curriculum resources educators and facilitators need to lead early learners through 10 sessions that explore science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) through play using the LEGO® Education STEAM Park. The 2023-2024 art-inspired MASTERPIECE materials will help students imagine and innovate new ways to create and communicate art across the globe.
1st - 3rd Grade
FIRST® LEGO® League Explore (ages 4-16, ages vary by division & country) introduces STEM to children in order to gain real-world problem-solving experiences and inspire young students to experiment and grow their critical thinking, coding, and design skills through hands-on STEM learning and robotics.
4th - 8th Grade
FIRST® LEGO® League Challenge introduces science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) to children through fun, exciting hands-on learning. Students gain real-world problem-solving experience through a guided, global robotics program, helping today's students and teachers build a better future together.
9th - 12th Grade
FIRST Tech Challenge teams (up to 15 team members, grades 7-12) are challenged to design, build, program, and operate robots to compete in a head-to-head challenge in an alliance format.
Welcome to the Compton Unified School District FIRST Robotics website! We proudly deliver FIRST Robotics Programs, from all FIRST Lego League Programs to FIRST Tech Challenge. From grades Pre-K to 12, our program values and prioritizes the introduction and engagement of STEM-education and a hands-on learning experience to all students.
Compton Unified School District is also a host site of the FIRST AmeriCorps Program, where FIRST AmeriCorps Members serve to support the delivery of our robotics programs, students, and coaches.

Work with either FLL, FTC or both types of teams
