SAFE ME is a leadership and workforce program for young adults who want structure, support, and a real path forward.

This is not a lecture.
This is not a program built to judge you.
This is a space to get focused, sharpen your mindset, and prepare for work, leadership, and life.

Only 15 active seats are available.
Another 15 participants may join through the virtual track and remain eligible for an active seat if one opens.

How to Apply

Applications are open for SAFE ME.

The application asks for basic contact information, availability, interests, and why you want to participate.

After you apply, the program team may contact you for a short screening conversation.

Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance, but every application will be reviewed.

A referral does not enroll them automatically. It helps us reach out, invite them to apply, and explain the opportunity.

You can refer a young adult by sharing their name and mobile number.

Please only refer someone you believe may be open to being contacted.

Mission of the project

SAFE ME is a cohort-based program (a group moving through together, like a class) focused on personal safety, leadership, workforce readiness, and community responsibility.

Participants work through sessions that build practical skills, confidence, discipline, and better decision-making.

The goal is simple: help young adults become more prepared, more connected, and more ready for the next opportunity.

Who SAFE ME Is For

SAFE ME is for young adults who are ready to take themselves seriously.

You may be a good fit if you:

Want a better job or career direction
Need more structure and accountability
Want to build leadership skills
Are tired of moving without a clear plan
Want positive people around you
Are ready to grow, even if you are still figuring things out

You do not have to have everything together before you apply.
You just need to be reachable, respectful, and willing to participate.

SAFE ME focuses on real-life skills that matter.

Leadership

Learn how to carry yourself, communicate clearly, and make decisions that protect your future.

Workforce Readiness

Build habits and skills connected to employment, professionalism, punctuality, teamwork, and opportunity.

Personal Safety

Think through choices, environments, conflict, and how to move with more awareness and control.

Accountability

Set goals, show up, follow through, and learn how to stay consistent.

Community Responsibility

Understand how your choices affect your family, your neighborhood, and your future.

How the Program Works

SAFE ME will select:

15 Active Participants
These participants join the main cohort and take part in the full program experience.

15 Virtual Participants
These participants join the virtual track, complete assignments, attend online check-ins, and stay eligible to move into an active seat if one opens.

If a virtual participant stays engaged but no active seat becomes available, they may still complete the program with SAFE ME Virtual Completion Status.

15 seated. 15 engaged. 30 served.

Active Participant Track

Active participants are expected to:

Attend required sessions
Participate respectfully
Complete assignments
Join check-ins when needed
Communicate if something comes up
Complete the final program steps for graduation

Active participants who complete the program may receive full SAFE ME graduate status.

or Virtual Participant Track

The virtual track is not just a waiting list.

Virtual participants are still part of SAFE ME. They can attend online sessions, complete assignments, respond to check-ins, and stay ready for an active seat.

If an active seat opens, the program may invite a virtual participant to move into the active cohort based on engagement, attendance, communication, and readiness.

Virtual participants who complete the requirements may graduate with virtual completion status.

Participants are expected to:

Show up or communicate early
Respect the group
Stay open to coaching
Complete assigned work
Keep contact information updated
Take the opportunity seriously

You do not have to be perfect.
You do have to be willing.

Is SAFE ME only for people in trouble?

No. SAFE ME is for young adults who want support, direction, leadership development, and better options.

Do I need work experience?

No. You can apply whether you are working, looking for work, in school, out of school, or figuring out your next step.

What if I cannot attend every session?

Communication matters. If something comes up, let the program team know as early as possible.

What is the virtual track?

The virtual track allows selected participants to stay engaged online. Virtual participants may move into the active cohort if a seat opens.

Can virtual participants graduate?

Yes. Virtual participants who complete the requirements may graduate with SAFE ME Virtual Completion Status.

Does applying guarantee a seat?

No. SAFE ME has 15 active seats and 15 virtual track spots. The team will review applications and contact selected participants.
