Are you ready to take your dance journey to the next level? This fall, NPDT once again invites dancers ages 8 and up (from level D to Adult and EMPOWER dancers) to be a part of something bold, creative, and transformative.

Our four companies aren’t just training programs —  they are an opportunity to grow as an artist, deepen your technique, and be part of a vibrant, collaborative community of dancers. You'll have the opportunity to learn, rehearse, and perform ballet, contemporary, and modern works choreographed by our co-artistic directors, Chris Harris and Julia Wilkinson Manley, as well as guest artists.

NDPT dancers fulfill summer training requirements and audition each season. 

NPDT auditions for the 2026-2027 season will take place on August 1: 

• 11:45-1:15 NPDT Youth Company Auditions - Level F/G/H

• 1:45-2:45 NPDT Mini Auditions - Level D/E

• 3:00-4:00 NPDT Empower Auditions

• 4:15-5:45 NPDT Adult Company Auditions

All NPDT dancers are expected to meet 2026 NPDT Summer Training Requirements. These can be fulfilled through a combination of week-long intensives and drop-in classes. Rest assured, there are plenty of class options available to meet these requirements!
Level E Summer Requirements: 60 classes at CML (approximately 3-3.5 weeks of summer training)
Level F/G/H Summer: 90 movement classes (a minimum of 30 must be completed at CML - all classes outside CML must be approved by JWM or CH)
