Dissemination

Research results will be communicated across the whole duration of the project. Results and research directions will be presented in scientific conferences as well as in events for public engagement (Festival della Scienza), including performances with the participation of performing artists. These events will be beneficial to collect feedback from non-specialist audiences. One of the application scenarios involves people with special needs in collective dance activities and performances, and synergies with existing initiatives (Dance Well) will be sought for effective outreach.

The consortium will organize a public event, inviting keynotes and demos, and involving an international motion capture company (Qualisys), for a broader dissemination and exploitation, in preparation of a EU project proposal followup and industrial exploitations. The general strategy for dissemination is based on openness: project reports, experimental data, models, and tools will be made available to all through the project website, thus affording independent evaluation and cross-validation of models and results. The results of experimental and modeling activities will be contributed to key scientific conferences and journals.

At the conclusion of the project, an Exploitation Plan will be prepared to consolidate the policies towards the usage of the results in future research, prospective applications, or commercial products. This document will provide a strategy to seek engagements with other scientific partners (e.g., European ones) and market players.
