The ISU Icons consist of 6 students all studying in the Master of Space Studies (MSS22) at the International Space University (ISU), in Strasbourg, France. With their diverse background, they represent the university's 3Is principles perfectly:
Intercultural, International, Interdisciplinary
Their motivation behind creating a card game can be explained easily:
Nowadays, everyone is always using an electronic device, be it for university, work, to communicate with each other, for shopping, etc. Everybody is surrounded by electronic devices so that sitting together and playing a board or card game has become a rare event. The ISU Icons wanted to create a reason that brings people together more often without the use of mobiles, tablets, laptops, and social media.
The card game Escapism is a unique opportunity to spend quality time together in person while having fun and gaining more knowledge at the same time.
