This will be my 18th year of teaching! Many people in our district will recognize me from A.C. Williams, but I finally followed my heart back to high school to teach British Literature. I am so excited to be at Commerce High School and to continue to aid our students as they continue on their journey to success.
I attended college at Tyler Junior College and the University of Texas at Tyler. I have an Associates and Bachelors degree in English. I will soon add a Masters in Learning and Instructional Technology to the list of degrees I currently hold. I am certified to teach 8-12 English and EC-4 General Subjects. I also have an ESL certificate.
I am married to a fabulous man who helps provide for my three daughters (two of which are still Commerce ISD students). We left Commerce ISD for one year, but missed the culture, the camaraderie, and the community of Commerce, so we came right back. We love this district, and are proud to be Commerce Tigers.
