Comment & Laugh (“we”, “our”, “us”) is a social application that allows users to create an account, log in, and interact with content (posts, comments, reactions).
We collect only what is necessary to operate the service:
Email address (used for login and account recovery)
User ID (generated by Supabase)
Session/auth tokens (to keep you logged in)
Username
Avatar (if you upload one)
Posts, comments, reactions, and any content you submit
Metadata needed to operate features (timestamps, counts, etc.)
We may receive limited technical information such as:
App version, device type, and basic diagnostics (for stability and bug fixing)
Create and manage your account (login, sessions)
Display your profile and content in the app
Provide core social features (posts, comments, reactions)
Prevent abuse and keep the platform safe
Improve app performance and fix bugs
We use Supabase as our backend provider to store and process data (authentication, database, and file storage such as avatars).
Supabase may process data on our behalf to provide these services.
We do not sell your personal data.
We may share data only:
With service providers required to operate the app (e.g., Supabase)
If required by law
To protect users, prevent abuse, and enforce our rules
Your username, avatar, and content you post may be visible to other users depending on app features and privacy settings available in the app.
We keep your data as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the service.
You can request deletion (see section 8).
We take reasonable steps to protect your data, but no online service can be 100% secure.
You can:
Update your profile (username/avatar) in the app
Request account deletion by contacting: support@commentandlaugh.com
We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
Comment & Laugh is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country).
