Volunteer.
Together, we can be the change.

The first steps to seeing change is action.

Come Home Michigan is dedicated to helping those in our area with Special Needs. To be the change, we have taken on the management of our local Special Olympic teams. We do want to keep our athletes safe, So every volunteer is vetted though Special Olympics Michigan.

Even if the event you want to volunteer for isn't specifically for Special Olympics, if you are going to work within our special needs community, we still ask that you fill out the following forms.

Step One: The volunteer form.
Click HERE to be taken to the volunteer form. Most of you will be a Volunteer but not a Champion School Participant. Please select Wayne county and type in 23 for the area. After you have completed the form, please send us a Copy at RobSherman@comehomemichigan.com.

Step two: Protective Behaviors Training.
This in a bit cumbersome, but is required to Volunteer. Once you create your login, you will see other training courses are available. Feel free to take any you wish but the one we need is the Behaviors training. Once you complete this section, please email your certificate to RobSherman@comehomemichigan.com. Click HERE to begin.

Step Three. General Orientation.
This is required only if you intend to participate in official Special Olympics events.
It covers many factors of what we do at Special Olympics. Click HERE to go to the orientation PDF.
