Come Center was created as a nonprofit over 10 years ago as a vehicle for Ronn Guidi’s adult classes to continue in the wake of the closure of his Oakland Ballet Academy. Studying from Ronn, original founder of the Oakland Ballet, was important to the organizers of Come Center and fueled their efforts to keep his classes in motion. Today, Come Center’s adult classes are taught by those trained in the same vein as Ronn.
