Please send a water bottle labeled with your child's name daily.
Super Snacks - granola bars, fresh fruit, trail mix, veggies, squeeze yogurt or applesauce
Silly Snacks (do not send these) - sugary foods (candy, cookies, donuts), messy foods (cheetos), snack needing spoons (we often are sitting on the carpet)
In Kindergarten, we have an early lunch followed by a long afternoon filled with active learning. To maximize instructional time, I have an optional "working" snack time at about 2:30. Students may bring a daily healthy snack that is quick, easy, and NOT messy. If you are unable to provide your child with a healthy daily snack, please send me a note or email. I will make sure to purchase and provide your child with a snack for the year.
Critters love snacks too! To minimize the critters (ants, mice) who want to visit our room, I will not be keeping extra snacks in the room.
