A Little About Me

Welcome to my page! My name is Cari Henslee and this is my 4th year as part of the OCES family. I hold a Bachelor of Arts for Educational Studies in Elementary Education. I am a special education teacher assisting our students as part of the Resource and Inclusion team. 

I believe that special education is about removing barriers, building strengths, and creating environments where every learner is seen, heard, and supported. 

My family and I have lived in New Braunfels since 2020. I love the New Braunfels area and I am delighted to call this place home. My husband and I have been married since 2006. We have two amazing children, Carter and Emma, who are in middle school. Finishing out our family is a fluffy rescue pup named Marshmallow.
