With 27 years of teaching experience, I’ve taught everything from high school Biology to 7th and 8th grade Science, as well as GT for grades 6, 7, and 8. I’m passionate about challenging students to think critically, explore the world around them, and connect learning to real-life experiences. Outside the classroom, I’m an empty nester with three grown kids and six amazing grandkids who I love spending time with.

As a GT and Science teacher, I’m passionate about sparking curiosity and critical thinking through hands-on learning and real-world connections. I believe the best lessons go beyond the classroom walls, which is why I love weaving my adventures and travels into the way I teach—whether it's exploring ecosystems, digging into geology, or connecting students with cultures around the globe. Every experience becomes a learning opportunity, and my goal is to help kids see the world not just as it is, but as something they’re capable of exploring, understanding, and impacting.
