Hello! I'm excited to be teaching 6th Grade Science at PRMS. I have over five years of experience in education and have taught both elementary and high school students. My science class is full of hands-on, engaging opportunities for students to ask questions, think critically, and discover how the world works. I am looking forward to an amazing year of learning, experimenting, and exploring with my students. My favorite part of teaching is when I see that light of understanding turn on for my students and they realize that they can do and become more than they thought possible. My goal is to create a classroom where students feel comfortable being curious, taking risks, learning from mistakes, and challenging themselves. It's terrific to be scientific!
On a personal note, I have been married for 27 years to my wonderful and supportive husband. We have four children together and have loved raising our family in Comal ISD. Two of our children graduated from SVHS, one graduated from MECHS, and our youngest is currently a junior at HCCPHS. I enjoy bike riding, hiking, and exploring national and state parks. I recently visited Yosemite National Park and was inspired by it's beauty, grandeur, and natural formations. God is the most amazing scientist I know!
Tuesday and Thursday from 7:45-8:07 (After school tutoring can be arranged if needed)
Please Note:
Students will only be allowed to attend one tutoring session per morning. Students will sign into the class they are attending and must stay in that classroom until 8:07 am.
If a student arrives to school or the classroom at 7:55am, they will be directed back to the gym/cafeteria. Unfortunately, there will not be enough time for the student to ge much work done in this small amount of time.
This list contains items that students will use throughout the school year to improve their learning experience. We would be so grateful of any donation to our classsroom.
Thank you in advance!
Mrs. Meisman
