Instrucciones generales para autores

- Deberá haberse abonado la inscripción previo al envío de los resúmenes. El no cumplimiento de las condiciones de inscripción y pagos correspondientes y en las fechas establecidas determinará la exclusión del trabajo o trabajos del libro de Resúmenes del Congreso.

- Los trabajos deben ser resultado de una investigación original y no estar publicados o aceptados para su publicación en otro congreso o revista al momento de ser enviados.

- Se admitirá un MÁXIMO DE DOS trabajos por participante inscripto.

General guidelines for authors

- The registration fee must be paid prior to submitting abstracts. Failure to comply with the registration and payment requirements within the established deadlines will result in the exclusion of the abstract(s) from the Congress Abstract Book .

- Submissions must be based on original research and must not have been published or accepted for publication in any other congress or journal at the time of submission.

- A MAXIMUM OF TWO submissions per registered participant will be accepted.

Formato de los resúmenes

- El resumen debe estar estructurado de la siguiente forma: introducción, objetivos, materiales y métodos, resultados, discusión y conclusiones, sin incluir los títulos de las secciones en el texto. Los márgenes de la página deberán ser: 2.5 cm superior e izquierdo, y 2 cm inferior y derecho.

- Los resúmenes deben redactarse en español e inglés con fuente Times New Roman 12 e interlineado sencillo. Utilizar cursiva para el texto en inglés. La revisión de los trabajos se realizará sobre el texto en español, quedando bajo responsabilidad de los autores su apropiada traducción al inglés.

- El título en español deberá tener un máximo de 25 palabras, escribirse en mayúscula y negrita, y no se debe colocar punto final. Incluir título en inglés debajo del anterior, en cursiva. Centrar ambos títulos.

- Los nombres de los autores deberán seguir el formato del siguiente ejemplo y también centrarse en la página:

González Juan (1), Rodríguez Santiago (2), Gómez Catalina (1,2,*)

El Autor que realizará la presentación del trabajo se indicará con subrayado, y el de correspondencia con el símbolo "*".

- Las afiliaciones deberán seguir el siguiente formato y encontrarse alineadas a la izquierda y con texto justificado:

(1) Nombre completo de la institución 1, ciudad, país.

(2) Nombre completo de la institución 2, ciudad, país.

- Debajo de las afiliaciones indicar la dirección de correo electrónico del autor de correspondencia según el siguiente formato: (*) j_gonzalez@mail.com 

- El cuerpo del resumen en español deberá tener un máximo de 300 palabras. No incluir tablas, figuras o citas bibliográficas. Los resultados deberán ser informados en el resumen. No se aceptarán enunciados como: “los resultados se mostrarán después” o “los resultados serán descriptos en la presentación”.

- Los nombres científicos deben ser escritos en letra cursiva (itálica). Usar la abreviatura “spp.” cuando se refiere a varias especies del género (ejemplo, Trichoderma spp.) y la abreviatura “sp.” cuando se refiere a una especie en particular (ejemplo, Trichoderma sp.). Usar el nombre completo la primera vez que se mencione al organismo y su versión abreviada en el resto del texto (ejemplo, T. reesei).

- El resumen deberá ser cargado en el "Formulario envío de resúmenes” (Ver a continuación) adjuntado como archivo Word (.doc o .docx). El título del archivo deberá incluir el apellido de la persona que presentará el trabajo seguido de sus iniciales y el título abreviado, por ejemplo: GOMEZ C_Trabajo 1

Para facilitar seguir estas instrucciones, incluimos a continuación una PLANTILLA que se sugiere fuertemente utilizar para la redacción de sus trabajos. Los resúmenes que no respeten estas instrucciones serán retornados a los autores para su corrección previamente a ser enviados para su evaluación.

Abstract formatting guideline

- The abstract must be structured as follows: introduction, objectives, materials and methods, results, discussion, and conclusions, without including section titles in the text. The page margins should be: 2.5 cm at the top and left, and 2 cm at the bottom and right.

- Abstracts should be written in both Spanish and English (or English only for non-Spanish speakers) using Times New Roman font size 12 and single line spacing. Italics should be used for the text in English.

- The title in Spanish should be a maximum of 25 words, written in uppercase and bold, without a period at the end. The English title should be included below, in italics. Both titles should be centered.

- The authors’ names should follow this format and also be centered on the page:

González Juan (1), Rodríguez Santiago (2), Gómez Catalina (1,2,*) 

The author presenting the work should be indicated by underlining, and the corresponding author with the symbol "*".

- The affiliations should follow this format, aligned to the left with justified text:

(1) Full name of institution 1, city, country.
(2) Full name of institution 2, city, country.

- Below the affiliations, include the email address of the corresponding author in the following format:
(*) j_gonzalez@mail.com

- The body of the abstract should be a maximum of 300 words. Do not include tables, figures, or references. Results must be included in the abstract. Statements such as “results will be shown later” or “results will be described in the presentation” will not be accepted.

- Scientific names should be written in italics. Use the abbreviation “spp.” when referring to multiple species of a genus (e.g., Trichoderma spp.) and “sp.” when referring to a single species (e.g., Trichoderma sp.). Use the full name the first time the organism is mentioned, and its abbreviation in the rest of the text (e.g., T. reesei).

- The abstract should be submitted via the "Abstract Submission Form" (see below) as a Word file (.doc or .docx). The file name should include the last name of the presenter followed by their initials and the abbreviated title, for example: GONZALES J_Trabajo 1.

To assist in following these guidelines, we have provided a TEMPLATE below that we strongly recommend using for your submissions. Abstracts that do not comply with these instructions will be returned to the authors for revisions before being submitted for evaluation.
