Our Mission
Joseph Coat’s mission is to answer God’s call to love and serve our neighbor by providing clothing, furniture and household goods to those in need.
Joseph’s Coat provides stabilizing resources to those in need in central Ohio. We serve our neighbors by providing furniture, clothing and household goods to individuals and families in need at no cost to them.
Current Clothing store hours are by appointment only:
Tuesdays 4-7 p.m.
Wednesdays - 9 a.m. - 12 .p.m
Saturdays 9 a.m.-12 p.m.
To schedule an appointment call 614-852-4858 Monday or Thursdays between 3 pm - 7 pm or request online anytime at info@josesphs-coat.org.
The health and safety of our volunteers and clients guides our current policies and practices.
- Masks Required
- No Children Permitted in the store
- 1 Adult can shop per household
- Shopping must be completed in 30 minutes
- One visit per month

The Westside Free Store Ministries is a faith-based, 501(c)(3) charitable organization designed to share resources, build relationships and create community on Columbus’ west side. Through the volunteer effort and generosity of many people, the Westside Free Store serves thousands of people in need each year.
The Westside Free Store Ministries is a faith-based, 501(c)(3) charitable organization designed to share resources, build relationships and create community on Columbus’ west side. Through the volunteer effort and generosity of many people, the Westside Free Store serves thousands of people in need each year.
Since opening our doors in August, 2004, we have become known as a hospitable community resource. Lunches are served every Saturday and guests may shop for clothes and small household items several days a week.

Clothing and small household items are donated for those in need to shop for free. All are welcome here at Westside Free Store. There are no income or residency requirements. The Free Store’s shoppers include men, women, and children who call Central Ohio home.
