Communities in Schools

Communities In Schools is a non-profit organization dedicated to removing non-academic barriers in order to help students reach their full potential in academic and personal success.

Frances Washington is the Communities in Schools Site Coordinator at Mifflin High School. 

Ms. Washington organizes a mentorship program and connects students to community resources. Mentors are positive adult role models that nurture, encourage, and guide students.
