Challengers baseball is part of Little League of America. It is a division for players with special needs who range in age from 5-18 year old (or who remain in school). The types of special needs varies. All players who have an IEP, 504, or have trouble with typical team/league settings are welcome to play. This will be the 29th year for the Blendon Westerville Little League Challengers league.
We provide an opportunity for individuals with intellectual and physical challenges to enjoy the benefits of Little League participation in an environment structured to their abilities

Broad Street Achievement Summer Learning Loss Prevention Program for children ages 5-13 (completed Kindergarten through 8th grade). Program is free to those eligible! Program begins Friday, June 12 and runs through Friday, August 14, 2020 (8:00 am - 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday). We serve free breakfast and lunch. Camp OFLA is a residential elementary foreign language camp for students in grades 3-8. It was created by the Ohio Foreign Language Association in 2005 at Templed Hills, Belleville, Ohio. This year it will take place May 31-June 6, 2020. Fun with language and culture!

"Circle of Friendship" is an day camp program of Inner Circle Communities, that offers summer enrichment opportunities for children ages 6-16 years old. Marburn Academy is committed to serving as a catalyst for improving the quality of education available to people with learning differences throughout Central Ohio and the state. In this role, Marburn Academy acts as a resource for parents, a demonstration center for model programs, and a training center for educators, psychologists, and other professionals. Hundreds of parents, teachers, and undergraduate college students annually take advantage of Marburn’s visitation program to observe model programs in action in the classroom.

Do you want to ensure your student does not students to lose, but builds upon, the knowledge they gained during the school year? The Salvation Army Learning Centers do just that! The Salvation Army Learning Center is a program designed to assist students with their academic and socio-emotional needs. This programming is offered free of charge during the school year (after-school) and during the summer in the Linden & Hilltop neighborhoods. This summer, our program will take place mid-June -- mid-August, Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 3:00pm.
Students will engage in fun, enrichment activities that support reading, math and socio-emotional skills, as well as incorporate learning in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM) topics. There is time for creating projects based on our learning; physical wellness, and enjoying nutritious meals. We even take weekly field trips to places like The Columbus Museum of Art, COSI, and The Newport Aquarium! Summer is a time to have fun, and we do just that, while learning!

At Sunbury Urban Farm, campers ages 5-13 spend their days exploring their world, digging in the garden, splashing in the creek, and building forest forts… all while forging connections, developing confidence and compassion, and gaining a deeper understanding of their ties to the nature and the food that they eat.
Choose from the standard camp program, Farm Explorers, or several specialty-themed weeks for older children. No matter the program, all day campers will visit the garden, play in the woods, make a craft project, and cook using fresh garden ingredients.
11 week-long options, June 1-Aug. 14. 9 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. with optional aftercare. Financial assistance is available.
TECH CORPS believes all students should have access to high-quality computer science learning experiences. Students take a deep dive into subject matter focused on Robotics, Programming, Android App Development and 3D Printing. We recruit, train and support tech talent to implement TECH CORPS programs. We work with industry partners, who believe as we do and together we provide students and teachers access to programs designed to educate, excite and empower. We believe studying computer science, regardless of a student’s ultimate occupation, provides the knowledge and practices necessary to be ready for college or career.
