Meet Ms. Caruthers

My name is Alicia Caruthers and I am the Student Support Specialist and the Test Coordinator at Eastmoor Academy. I work with mainly freshmen and seniors to make sure they stay on track and work with them on strategies and skills to help them be successful. I have 28 years of experience as a teacher. I taught math for 27 years at the middle and high school level before becoming the Student Support Specialist. I have a bachelor's in Mathematics Education and a Masters's in Education as well a minor in Computer Science. I like electronics and amateur graphic design. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling and minor home improvement projects.
