DID YOU KNOW THERE ARE TRANSLATION OPTIONS FOR:
- Avalon Eagles Newsletter - translation is available in the upper right hand corner if you are viewing on a computer and in the lower right hand corner if you are viewing on a phone (look for the human figure/icon that represents translation).
- Talking Points - one parent/guardian will receive access automatically to Talking Points. Upon enrollment that parent/guardian will receive messages from the classroom teacher and school staff in their messages application on their phone/laptop/computer. The parent/guardian can then click on a link in the message to download the Talking Points for Families app. The parent/guardian can also go to the App Store or Google Play to download the Talking Points for Families app. If the parent/guardian is 'contact 1' in the Infinite Campus Parent Portal, the parent/guardian will receive automatic access after entering the cell phone number and selecting the language of choice. Messages will be seen in the language chosen by the parent/guardian and in English to the staff. There is an automatic translation feature built in to the app. If the parent/guardian does not have access and wishes to have access to Talking Points, that will need to be changed in the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. Go to 'More' in the menu of the Campus Parent app then select 'Annual Update'. Whoever is listed as 'Contact 1' should have access to Talking Points if they are a guardian.
- Columbus City Schools - website https://www.ccsoh.us/ Select the language of your choosing at the very top left of the page on the navy blue banner.
- Avalon Elementary - school website https://www.ccsoh.us/avalones Look at the top of the page on the right where it says 'Translate.' Click on that to select your language.
- CCS Infinite Campus Parent Portal - Click at the top right of the page on the head and shoulders figure. Go to your account and you will see 'Language' in the drop down menu. Select your language of choice.
