I believe that a classroom should be a safe, caring community where children grow and learn everyday. Teaching is always learning from your students, colleagues, parents, and the community. Even as teachers we never stop learning how to help our students to the best of our ability.

In my teaching I try to keep it fun. I teach a standard and then show a video or play a game to reinforce what we have learned.

I teach the way I do because I think it helps engage the children and put the learning into their hands. They play the games and watch the videos but still learn more from them.

My goal is to teach your children to the best of my ability and hopefully let them see that learning is fun.

For me I can tell a student is learning when they do well in the game we have played or when they relate what we have learned to something in their lives.

I try to help create an inviting learning environment by letting them know they can ask me any questions they have about our lesson.
