In Little Information about Me

I am always proud to tell people that I was born in Washington, DC. I spent most of my life in Maryland. I went to the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC).

I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Degree in American Studies and a minor in Education.

After graduation, I moved to Arizona where my career in education began. During that time, I was awarded Teacher of the Year for the Blue Ridge Unified School District.

While in Arizona, I owned a 501 c (3) Non-Profit Organization that help to cloth the men, woman, and children of Arizona. During that time, I also volunteered with the United Way to help with their work with the homeless population.

My husband and I decided to move back to the East Coast after our fifth grandchild was born. We decided that after living in Arizona, we were ready to settle down by the ocean.
