As a returning FLL member, I (Analee) helped Sydney understand the different parts of the robot. Today we worked in pairs to learn about each part of the robot, the sensors, the motors, and how the brick functions. As we discussed the different parts of the robot in our teams, we also brainstormed how we would accomplish our individual missions. What would we need to accomplish our goal? In addition to sketching an attachment, we believe that we will need to modify the design of our robot so that we can further accomplish our goal. We found a base robot on EV3lessons.com that we would like to show the rest of our team so that they too may consider changing our robot design.
Azlynne and I (Cordelia) reviewed the Engineering Notebook so that we could better understand each mission. Today our team discussed our Robot Game Strategy. Azlynne and I want to make sure that our team successfully scores the most amount of points possible without having to touch our robot. Our strategy is to complete all missions that are similar so that we don't have to change out the attachments each run which will take up a lot of time.
