Dr. Humphries Aleks Policy- Quarter One
For the first quarter, I’m asking that each student complete the following:
All classes: 5 Aleks topics a week.
The first step is to finish the initial knowledge check, and we will have one 50 minute class period to work on this. You will have to do knowledge checks after every 20 lessons and five hours. Aleks can be done at home or when you have extra time in school. It will be graded out of lessons completed- remember that Aleks is worth 15% of your math grade. If you do not have internet access at home and you’re unable to find time during the school day, you’re welcome to come to my room Tuesday/Thursday mornings from 7:40-8:30am. I will give class time when available.
The first week starts Sunday 8/20 and ends Saturday 8/26 (at midnight). The weeks will run Sunday through Saturday.
