In May of 2021 The Columbia County EMC and staff from the Columbia County Planning Department, Columbia Land Conservancy, Hudsonia, and the Hudson River Estuary Program presented a two-part webinar series describing how to make best use of the new Natural Resources Inventory.
This two-part workshop was offered online via Zoom. Recordings of these sessions can be viewed using the links below:

Presentations by:
Gretchen Stevens, Director, Biodiversity Resources Center, Hudsonia and
Ingrid Haeckel, Conservation and Land Use Specialist, Hudson River Estuary Program/Cornell University
This session offered an overview of the Columbia County Natural Resources Inventory, its content and uses, and included practice in using the document. Part 2: Accessing and Using NRI Maps Online via Columbia County Geo-Data
Presentation by:
Don Meltz, Senior Planner, Columbia County Planning Department
In this session, participants were introduced to an online map tool created by the Columbia County Planning Department that provides ready access to natural resource information and tax parcel data.
