Every Spring the Columbia County Environmental Management Council accepts nominations for its annual Good Earthkeeping Awards. The purpose of these awards is to recognize and commend individuals, agencies, businesses, and organizations that have made a real contribution to the preservation, improvement, or increased public awareness of the environment in Columbia County.
More than 70 agencies, individuals, groups and businesses have received this prestigious honor since 1982.
Nominations may be made for individuals, groups, or organizations in the following categories:
Individual (18 years of age and older)
Organization or Group
Business
Educational Institution or Program
Youth - Individual (13-17 years of age)
Youth - Group (13-17 years of age)
