Every summer, Columbia will provide an in-person credit recovery option students in grades 7-12 that have failed a core subject. Please watch for communication to be sent home to every student in danger of failing a core course.
In addition to the in-person summer option, we have partnered with Educere to provide a self-pay option for credit recovery and original credit.
School Counselors will work with any interested student and family to determine appropriate course(s). The student and parent will then register and pay for the course(s) themselves. School Counselors are able to see progress and will be notified upon completion of each course so transcripts can be updated. It is the responsibility of the student and family to pay up-front for each course.
Full and half credit equivalent courses are available through Educere.
