Course Description
One of the primary goals of Geometry is the development of logical reasoning. Through the geometric structure ‑‑ undefined terms, definitions, assumptions, and theorems ‑‑ an orderly demonstration of geometric proofs and problems in the plane is affected. Solid geometry extends the ideas of plane geometry into three dimensions including volumes. Geometry is essential for college‑bound students. Recommended in grade 10.
Pre‑requisite is C average in Algebra. (1 credit)
