Mrs. Haven lives in Columbia with her husband and three boys. She has taught at Columbia Middle School since 2011. Growing up in Columbia and graduating from Columbia High School has provided Mrs. Haven with community pride and commitment to providing outstanding education to her students.  

Mrs. Haven earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign, Middle School Endorsement Courses from SIUE, and her STEM Certification from Maryville University.

Mrs. Haven works hard to bring the Science of Learning into her classroom. She is an evidence-informed educator who shares her passion and knowledge about the way students learn with others.
